Area 16 and Championships

ARENA EVENTING 1st February 20225

A super day of competiton at the Area Arena Eventing at Epworth with some fabulous results. Our first ever junior team won the Junior 80cm and have qualified for the championships.The team of Georgina Debenham, Flo Woolard,Effie Berry, and Gracie Triggs rode like truck professionals. We also had 3 junior individuals who rode equally well and achieved some great rounds.

Senior 80cm team not to be outdone also won!

Charlotte Moseley 2nd, Kerry Martin 9th, Jordon Keal 13th, David Whatoff 19th

Well done to the Mixed 90cm Team who came 2nd, again with some super rounds

Ava Lambert 4th and highest placed junior, Jordon Keal 9th, Flo Woollard 13th, David Whatoff 20th

Ava Lambert was the only member to compete at 100cm Individual and did well with a 2nd placing

Rutland riding club has a successful day at Elms Farm. Our Team of 3 was placed 2nd overall and karin won her section.

Sarah Batty as an individual had a good dressage score and good 80cm jumping round until her horse took exception to the last fence.

DRESSAGE OPEN TEAM.       Placed. 4th.
          Novice. 23.   Mel Bennett on Adlerfarn Z.  67.29%    Ind.place.  6th. Team 5th.
          Novice. 24.   Kelly Hetherington on Britania Rocks.   63.91%.  Ind. place. 7th. Team 3rd.
          Novice. 30.  Yasmin Morgan-Kay on Penddraig Sylvano. 65.38%. Ind.place 7th. Team 7th.
          Elem. 43.     Bella Craven on Collette Boy.   67.41%. Ind. place 2nd. Team 2nd.

Team places are worked out by taking non team combinations out of the class list.
(The more individuals in the test placed above you the higher you go up the list). Each team rider is then given points equal to their place. 1st= 1 point.  Lowest points of best three riders to count. That is according to the rule book.
